ORDINANCE NO. L092
AN ORDINANCE REQUTRTNG THE USE OF PUBLIC SEWER BY RESIDENTS OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL, AND PROVTDTNG AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNC.TL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The owner(s) of all houses, buildings, or property
constructed after the effective date hereof and used for
human occupancy, employment, recreation or other purposes
situated within the City and abutting on any street, alley
or right-of-way in which there is located a public sanitary
or combined sewer of the City, is hereby required at owner(s)
expense to install suitable toilet facilities therein, and
to connect such facilities directly with the proper public
sewer in accordance with ordinance, prior to any occupancy
of the house, building or structure, provided that said
public sewer is within 200 feet of the house or building.
The owner(s) of all houses, building or properties now located
within the City and used for human occupancy, employment,
recreation or other purposes and abutting on any street,
alley, or right-of-way in which there is located a public
sanitary sewer or combined sewer of the City, shall be required,
at their expense, to install suitable toilet facilities
therein, and to connect such facilities directly to the
proper public sewer in accordance with the provisions of
this ordinance, within 180 days after notification from the
City to the property owner that such connection is required,
provided that said public sewer is within 200 feet of the
house or building.
SECTION 11. This ordinance shall become effective thirty
30) days from and after its adoption by the City Council
and approval by the Mayor..
