ORDINANCE NO. 1051
AN ORDINANCE, PURSUANT TO TITLE 7, CHAPTER 4, PART 2, MCA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1048 (SALARY ORDINANCE) BY ADDING THERETO THE SALARY
AND COMPENSATION OF THE CITY CLERK -TREASURER APPOINTED BY THE MAYOR
AND APPROVED BY THE COUNCIL ON THE 7TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF KALISPELL, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1048, Section 1, Exhibit "A", Part 11 is
hereby amended so that the salary and compensation for the City
Clerk -Treasurer appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council
on the 7th day of January, 1985 is established to be the sum of $25,000.00.
Appropriations shall be made to pay same when due.
SECTION Il. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect as regularly
provided for by law; all salaries and compensation provided for herein
shall be paid retroactive to January 14, 1984.
SECTION Ill. All portions and parts of Ordinance No. 1048 not amended
hereby remain the same..

The above base pay is to be supplemented with lon gvity
pay based on a rate of 1% of a base of $5.00 per hour,
(which is 5 cents) times years of service. Longevity' ,
.Pay increases will be computed at July 1st. Ernployees
will be eligible for longevity only after at least six
(6) months service.prior to each July ist.
Probationary wage rate per hour for new employees - 90%
of classification pay.
