ORDINANCE NO. 1050
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY OF KALISPELL ZONING ORDINANCE,
ORDINANCE NO. -885 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 953 BY AMENDING A
PORTION OF SECTION 3.01 AND DELETING TABLE 3-0 OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL
ZONING ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 3.01 of the
(Ordinance N.o. 885, as amended
amended to read as follows:
Sec. 3.01. Intent.
City of Kalispell Zoning Ordinance
by Ordinance No. 953); is hereby
The purpose of this chapter is to establish district
classifications wherein compatible uses of land may be grouped
to create, protect or maintain a living environment; to stabilize
and protect the uses contained within the districts: to allow
a maximum degree of latitude within the districts, conduct
profitable business or contribute to the economy of the city.
It is also the purpose of this chapter to make it possible to
design and install all .physicsal public service facilities more
efficiently and economically in terms of size and capacity
and to meet public needs resulting from a defined intensity
of land use as well as provide for the health, safety morals,
prosperity and well being of the population of the total
area. In order to achieve the intent of this chapter, all
zoning districts shall be established in substantial compliance
with the Master Plan for the Kalispell City -County Planning
Jurisdictional Area, as amended.
SECTION III. Table 3-0, Section 3.01 of the City of Kalispell Zoning
Ordinance (Ordinance No. 885, as amended by Ordinance No. 953); is
hereby stricken and said Table 3-0 shall have no more force and effect
upon and after the effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION ' 111. The balance -of Table 3-0, Section 3.01 of the City --of
Kalispell Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 885, as amended by Ordinance
No. 953) not amended hereby, shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION IV. This; Ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days from
and after the date of its final passage by the Council and approval by
the Mayor.
