AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 11-6 (ORDINANCE NO. 818) KALISPELL
CITY CODE BY PERMITTING THE CITY OF KALISPELL TO USE FIFTY-FIVE
GALLON DRUMS IN PARKS FOR COLLECTION AND REMOVAL OF PARK REFUSE.
NOW THEREORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF KALISPELL, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 11-6(e) is hereby amended to read
as follows-:
(e) Same --Prohibited types. The following type containers
are prohibited:
(1) Fifty-five gallon drums.
(2) Other straight sided metal or paper drums
used as containers for commercial products.
(3) "G.I." garbage cans.
(4) Containers with lids which do not fit securely.
(5) Other nonstandard containers such as household
garbage and waste receptacles, wheel barrows,
wash tubs, etc.
(6) This section shall not be construed so
as to�roh_i.bi.t the use o fifty_-five_jZ0r� g_
drums_ by_,_the__C_ity.__of _K_alis.pell--f—or the-_collect_a.on
of Citypark refuse. provided_that the fifty-five
gallon containers be used only within the exterior
boundaries of a designated City_park and only
for the collection of Dark refuse.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be effective thirty
days from and after ii'ts final passage and approval by
the Mayor.
