Greetings from Polebridge! Despite leaving the council 8 years ago, I still follow carefully what's going on. And this is the
first time I've felt compelled to stick my nose in your business. This eviction surrounding the old Outlaw Inn is a travesty.
If the city is truly concerned with the housing issue, then you should refrain from talking about it and do something to
show the public, and this is the time! You should add a condition to the developer's proposal that prevents eviction until
all the residents have gotten assistance in some form, if nothing else than a consultation from a housing professional
such as those at CAP, and referrals to our emergency housing providers. Allowing out of state developers to impact our
local residents in this way is a poor reflection on our community and sends a bad message. Please consider options to
assist our less fortunate neighbors.
