ORDINANCE NO. 1030
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 17-90 KALISPELL CITY CODE BY LIMITING
PARKING OF A MOTOR VEHICLE FOR A PERIOD OF GREATER THAN THIRTY (30)
MINUTES AT THE INTERSECTION OF MAIN STREET WITH FIRST STREET, MAIN
STREET WITH SECOND STREET, MAIN STREET WITH THIRD STREET AND MAIN
STREET WITH FOURTH STREET; TO PROVIDE FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SIGNS
IN THE EFFECTED AREA, AND TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION I. Section 17-54 of the Kalispell City Code is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following:
No motor vehicle shall be parked continuously at any
one place for more than thirty (30) minutes between
the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. at the following
locations:
a) In the first parking stall adjacent to
Main Street on the:
i) North Curbline of First Street East
ii) South Curbline of First Street East
iii) North Curbline of First Street West
iv) South Curbline of First Street West
v) South Curbline of Second Street East
vi) North Curbline of Second Street West
vii) South Curbline of Second Street West
viii) North Curbline of Third Street East
IX) South Curbline of Third Street East
x) North Curbline of Third Street West
xi) South Curbline of Third Street West
xii) North Curbline of Fourth Street East
xiii) South Curbline of Fourth Street East
xiv) North Curbline of Fourth Street West
xv) South Curbline of Fourth Street West
b) In those first parking stalls located on Main Street,
which are immediately adjacent to First Street East and
West, Second Street East and West, Third Street East and
West, and Fourth Street East and West.
SECTION II. All other portions of Section 17-90, Kalispell City
Code, shall remain unchanged.
SECTION III. The Chief of Police shall immediately, upon the
effective date of this ORDINANCE, cause to be installed ap-
propriate and adequate signs to indicate thirty (30) minute
parking in the thirty-one stalls herein described.
SECTION IV. This Ordinance is effective thirty (30) days
following final passage by the Council and approval by the
Mayor.
