AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT SECTION 17-77.1, KALISPELL CITY CODE TO
PROHIBIT PARKING ON SIDEWALKS AND ON BOULEVARDS OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL; AND TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
AS'FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Stopping, Standing or Parking in Specified Places.
No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle, except when
necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in com-
pliance with directions of a police officer or traffic -
control device in the following places:
1) On a sidewalk;.
2) on a boulevard, which is that part of the
street between the curb line and the sidewalk,
or that part of the street between the curb
line whether or not a curb exists and the sidewalk.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be effective thirty days
from and after its final passage and approval by the Mayor.
FINALLY PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR THIS DAY OF 1983.
