Ordinance 1026 - Prohibits Parking on Sidewalks & BoulevardsORDINANCE NO. /p 1 AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT SECTION 17-77.1, KALISPELL CITY CODE TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON SIDEWALKS AND ON BOULEVARDS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL; AND TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS'FOLLOWS: SECTION I. Stopping, Standing or Parking in Specified Places. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in com- pliance with directions of a police officer or traffic - control device in the following places: 1) On a sidewalk;. 2) on a boulevard, which is that part of the street between the curb line and the sidewalk, or that part of the street between the curb line whether or not a curb exists and the sidewalk. SECTION II. This ordinance shall be effective thirty days from and after its final passage and approval by the Mayor.
