Hello,
I'm sure you know the housing situation is rough. That's why many people call the outlaw home, people with children,
pregnant women, the elderly, disabled, and hard working people who can't find housing. Many people think the outlaw
is home to people who are drug addicts and people who don't work. That is simply untrue everyone is from the valley,
it's not cheap to live here. Lots of people here have 2 jobs.
Before my husband I had gotten this room at the annex we had been on the waiting list for 10 months (most Apartments
in town have a 2 year waiting list we always try to apply).
We just moved into this room a week and a half ago. Before that we had been living in our friends living room, in and
out of hotel rooms, and living in our car. All while working steady jobs, I've had my full time + 14$ job for over 2 years,
and my husband works 2 jobs. This housing situation is dire how are we souppose to get housing in now less then 30
days? Is there anything they can do maybe remodel in sections? So we can stay in the sections that aren't being
remodeled, then be moved into the new apartments? Or maybe given apartments if there are any because we all have
money to pay rent. Please help city council!
