Good afternoon city council and mayor I am reaching out to you on behalf of not only myself and my family but on
behalf of all the families and elderly and veterans that are currently residing at the extended stay of the Fairbridge on
January 12th, 2022 we all received a letter on our door's stating that we have until February 12th, 2022 to be out as we
all know it is already difficult to find housing here as is let alone something that many of us here can afford we pay 800$
a month with utilities included we originally where told that if it sold we would be grandfathered in they would renovate
one side and then just moves us over and we would just pay 1,000$ a month which we were all ok with doing so but
many of us have pets and have new babies or are elderly they just recently moved in to more residents a elderly lady
upstairs in 532 and then someone yesterday in room 420 if we have to find a new place why are they charging us why
would they move us I will attach the letter that they gave us for you to see. This is very heartbreaking many families are
extremely hurt and out raged by this there are no drug dealers or drug junkies here the people who live here work and
are families with kids and babies under a year old and veterans and elderly disabled. We need help please.
