AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 17-54, KALISPELL CITY CODE, TO PRO-
HIBIT OR LIMIT VEHICLE PARKING ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF CERTAIN CITY c.), 7 7
STREETS; TO PROVIDE EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MON--
TANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 17-54(a) of the Kalispell City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(a) On Center Street as follows:
1) On the north side between Main Street and
First Avenue East at any time, providing,
however, that the provisions of this sub-
section shall not apply to private passen-
ger cars.
2) On the south side between Main Street and
Fourth Avenue East at any time.
3) On the north side between Main Street and
Fifth Avenue West at any time.
4) On the south side between Main Street and
Third Alley West at any time.
SECTION II. Section 17-54(c) of the Kalispell City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(c) On Second Street as follows:
1) On the north side between Second Alley East
and Second Avenue East, on school days be-
tween the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M.
2) On the south side between Fifth Avenue East
and Woodland Avenue at any time.
SECTION III. Section 17-54(h) of the Kalispell City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(h) On Eighth Street as follows:
1) On the south side between Fourth Avenue
East and Fifth Avenue East at any time.
2) On the north side between Fourth Alley West
and Fifth Avenue West at any time.
SECTION IV. Section 17-54(n) of the Kalispell City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(n) On Sixth Street as follows:
1) On the south side between Main Street and
First Avenue West at any time.
2) On the south side between the southerly
offset of Fourth Avenue West and Fifth Av-
enue West on school days between the hours
of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., provided, how-
ever, school bus parking shall be permitted
thereon to discharge and load students at
all times.
SECTION V. Section 17-54(o) of the Kalispell City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(o) On Fourth Avenue East as follows-.
1) On the west side between Center Street and
Second Street East at any time.

and Ninth Street 8a'st at any time.

SECTION VI. Section 17-54, Kalispell City Code, is hereby amended
to add thereto the following:
(r) On Second Street East, on the south side between
Second Avenue East and Third Alley East, at any
time.
(s) On Third Street East, on the north side between
Second Avenue East and Third Alley East, at any
time.
(t) On Third Avenue East, on the west side between
First Street East and Third Street East, at any
time.
(u) On the offset extension of Fourth Avenue West, on
the west side between Sixth Street West and Eighth
Street West (in front of Flathead High School),
between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. on
school days; provided, however, school bus park-
ing shall be permitted thereon to discharge or
load students at all times.
(v) On Fifth Street West, on the north side between
Third Avenue West and Fourth Avenue West, at any
time.
(w). On Twelfth Street West, on the north side between.
Main Street and First Avenue West, at any time.
(x) On First Avenue West between Center Street and
Fifth Street West, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fri-
days between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 8:00 A.M.
(y) On First Avenue East between Center Street and
Fifth Street East on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fri-
days between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 8:00 A.M.
(z) On Washington Street, on the south side between
Fifth Avenue East North and Sixth Avenue East
North, on school days between the hours of 8:00
A.M. and 4:00 P.M.; provided, however, school bus
parking shall be permitted thereon to discharge
or load students at all times.
SECTION VII. The balance of Section 17-54, Kalispell City Code,
not amended hereby, shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION VIII. This ordinance shall be effective thirty days from
and after the date of its final.. passage by the Council and appro-
val by the Mayor.
