Ordinance 979 - One Way Traffic on 8th & 9th St E & W Between 1st Ave E & WORDINANCE NO. 979
AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH ONE --WAY ONLY VEHICLE TRAFFIC ON EIGHTH
STREET AND NINTH STREET BETWEEN FIRST AVENUE EAST AND FIRST AVENUE
WEST AND ON THE UNNAMED STREETS IN COUNTY COURTHOUSE PARK; TO PRO-
VIDE PENALTY FOR VIOLATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MON--
TANA:
SECTION I. All vehicular traffic on Eighth Street between
lst Avenue East .and lst Avenue West shall be from East to West
only.
SECTION II. All vehicular traffic on Ninth Street between
lst Avenue East and lst Avenue West shall be from West to East
only.
SECTION III. All vehicular traffic on the unnamed street in
the Western portion of County Courthouse Park for travel between
Eighth Street West and Ninth Street West therein shall be from
South to North only.
SECTION IV. All vehicular traffic on the unnamed street in
the Eastern portion of County Courthouse Park for travel between
Eighth Street East and Ninth Street East therein shall be from
North to South only.
SECTION V. All sections of Chapter 17, Article VI, Kalispell
City Code, applicable generally to one-way streets in the City,
shall apply to the streets effected by this ordinance.
SECTION VI. Vehicle traffic in a manner and direction other
than as provided herein is prohibited, and a wilful, purposeful
or negligent violation hereof shall be punished as provided by Sec-
tion 1-9 of the Kalispell City Code.
