A RESOLUTION TO ALTER AND AMEND THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF
CONTRACT WITH
Greg Bain & QMX�= CN Interior Police Dep-al1mgnt Remodel
WHEREAS. the City did, on 12-1-89 . enter Into a contract with Greg Bain & Co. of
3577 Hwy 93 N. . Kalispell. Montana 59901 for RCn ation of Police Dellartment
Ln_terior on the.Police Department4 and
WHEREAS, upon the advise and recornmendation of KM L. Williams
who is the City's consultant and engineer on said project, certain changes and
alterations of design and specifications have been found necessary and advisable in the
best Interests of the City; and said changes and alterations could not have been
necessarily foreseeable when the original design and speciftcations were prepared on
this phase of the Police Department Renovation. and said changes are contained
in Exhibit -&attached hereto and are by this reference made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS. It appears In the best interests of the City to approve said changes and
alterations.
NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-5-4308 (1) MCA be It hereby
resolved:
1. The alterations and modifications of the specifications and plans of the
contract between the City of Kalispell and Greg Bain& Ca=j1Wz,.dated 12-l-B9.1 asset
out in Exhibit -&attached hereto. are hereby approved-. and
2. As soon as the price to be paid for said alterations and modifications Are
agreed to in writing. signed by the contractor, and hereby approved by the Council, this
approval thereof shall be in effect.
