Resolution 3862 - Set Public Hearing - Amend Budget for S&C FundRESOLUTION NO. 3862 A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE 1988 SIDEWALK AND CURB FUND TO PROPERLY ACCOUNT FOR FUNDS AVAILABLE IN THE FUND WHICH CAN BE EXPENDED IN THE FISCAL 1989 BUDGET. WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell in fiscal year 1989 appropriated $50,000.00 to cover the cost of the Sidewalk and Curb Construction; and WHEREAS, the actual expenditures incurred during the project amounted to the sum of $56,294.00; and WHEREAS, expenditures of $6,294.00 over the appropriated amount may be covered by revenue received from the sale of Sidewalk and Curb Bonds, 1988; and WHEREAS, the sum of $6,294.00 is available in the Sidewalk and Curb Fund for expenditures which were not budgeted. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the actual expenditures incurred in the 1988 Sidewalk and Curb Construction Fund exceeded the amount appropriated for fiscal 1989 for the project by the sum of $6,294.00. SECTION II. That the 1988 Sidewalk and Curb Fund budget may be legally amended to authorize the expenditure of $6,294.00 from revenue received from the sale of 1988 Sidewalk and Curb Bonds, 1988. SECTION III. That a Public Hearing shall be held by the City Council at 7:30 P.M. on the 19th day of June, 1989, at the Council Chambers, City Hall, Kalispell, Montana. SECTION IV. That at said hearing any taxpayer or resident of Kalispell may appear and be heard regarding the proposed budget amendment. SECTION V. That at a meeting held at least seven (7) days subsequent to said hearing the Council may, by majority vote, amend the 1988 Sidewalk and Curb Fund to properly account for expenditures made as a result of unanticipated revenue in the Fund. SECTION VI. The City Clerk -Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of the above set public hearing by publishing a copy of the Resolution together with a Notice of Public Hearing in the Daily Inter Lake, said publication to appear on time at least six (6) days prior to the hearing on the budget amendment.
