Dear City Council members --
The Flathead City -County Board of Health has been through the wringer as they have responded to a barrage of new and
urgent issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. Specific members on the board have also created dangerous and
unnecessary controversy in the community and the board during that time.
I would ask you to appoint someone from the city council to the board of health in order to have transparency and
accountability during this time. Council members have been elected by Kalispell residents, who have had the chance to
review candidates and vote for the person they feel represents them best.
Thank you for keeping the stability of the county and public health as a top priority as you make this important
appointment.
