A RESOLUTION LEVYING AN ASSESSMENT FOR THE COST OF LIGHTING THE STREETS
AND ALLEYS IN THE C17Y SPECUAL LIGHTING DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
19 88-89 .
WHEREAS, that the assessment cost of the Special Lighting District for
the fiscal year 1988-89 is estimated to be $63,168.00.
Y&E'AS, at a public hearing held on the 3rd day of August 1988, the.
City Council did consider all objections made to said estimate and to the
basis of levy and assessment for payment for said cost.
NOW, THEREFORF., BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TFiE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION I. That a tax be levied for- the assessment cost, or
$63,168.00, be in the amounts set opposite the description of each lot or
parcel of land, as shown by the special assessment lists on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
SECTION II. The amount of said tax shall be levied proportionately on an
area basis in the amount of $.00142 per square foot of lot or parcel of land
within the district except public streets or rights of way.
SECTION III. The City Clerk will forthwith furnish a proper copy of this
resolution to the City Treasurer as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AND APPROVED BY THE
MAYOR THIS 8TH DAY OF' AUGUST 1988.
