A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RESERVATION'FEES AND RULES FOR GROUP USE OF
CITY OF KALISPELL PARKS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the City or Kalispell hereby adopts the
Group Use Reservation Fees and Rules as set forth in Exhibit
"A", attached hereto and for purposes of this Resolution
made a part hereof.
SECTION II. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.

GROUP USE RESERVATION FEES
A non-refundable group use reservation fee will be assessed for the
following sites and groups, for each 24 hour period or fraction
thereof as follows:

HOW TO APPLY
An official representative of the group requesting a reservation may
do so by contacting the Parks & Rec office in person or by phone. A
written application and appropriate fees are required 48 hours prior
to the scheduled event.
Reservations are required for any group of 20 or more people and must
be approved at least 48 hours in advance of the function. Certain
sites are in high demand so we recommend you apply as soon as your
plans are final.

Applications may be denied for groups which have violated existing
rules in the past, for groups that may require additional security
or maintenance, or for groups too large for the recreation area to
support.
In the event a reservation is cancelled more than 72 hours before
the intended use period, the reservation fee shall be refunded.
We require fees to be paid with check, rioney order, or cash. In
the event a refund of the deposit is necessary and prior to the 72
hour limit, a claim must be submitted to the City Clerk's office
for payment.
For groups over one hundred, fees may vary according; to size.
Contact the Director of Parks and Recreation for details.
Upon payment of fees and approval of the scheduled event, a permit
shall be issued to the official representative to be in his pos-
session at all times.
During the use of the area, a copy of the use permit shall be in
possession of the person whose name appears hereon, for proof of
valid reservation.
Upon presenting this permit, any non -reserved group will be required
to vacate the reserved site at the request of the scheduled group.
A Department employee will inspect the reserved area no later than
8:30 A.M. on the day following use. If additional clean up is needed
a rate of $10.00 per hour will be billed the offiical representative.
If damage is done to Park facilities, the total cost of repair, in-
cluding labor and parts, will be billed to the official representa-
tive.
Park Hours: 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
Park Rules: No alcohol
Garbage placed in containers
Groups will vacate the area no later than 10:00 P.M.
These recreation sites are public use areas. Acts of discrimination
should be reported to the Human Rights Division, Helena, MT.
