A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE KALISPELL AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AS THE
SPONSORING ORGANIZATION FOR KALISPELL, MONTANA, IN THE MONTANA SUPERHOST
PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Kalispell hereby endorses the

Kalispell Area Chamber of Commerce as the sponsoring oro
zation for Kalispell, Montana, in the Montana Superhost Program
and authorizes it to enter the program on behalf of the
community.
SECTION II. That the Superhost Program is a visitors service
program for Montana communities designed to develop our hosting
capabilities for visitors to Montana.
The requirements include:
1. Establishing hospitality training programs in the
community
2. Developing vistor3 information canters in the community
3. Preparing basic informational publications for visitors
Program sponsors are: Montana Department of Commerce, Montana
Tourism Advisory Council and the Montana Chamber of Commerce.
Program is administered by the Business Assistance Division
of the Department of Commerce.
Program is funded by the Accommodation Tax.
SECTION III. This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AND APPROVED BY
THE MAYOR THIS 16th DAY OF MAY, 1988.
