A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION' TO SUBMIT �T C,",)-:--,,-jNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE SOUTHWESf-,LMW,-1R1--1AflD WATER PROJECT.
WHEREAS ', the City of Kalispell is applying to the -Montana Department
of Commerce for a Community Development Block Grant to provide
water and sewer to the southwest area of Kalispell from Fourth
Avenue West to Seventh Avenue West from the City limits to Sunny Side
D r i v e . I
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell has conducted at least two public
hearings as part of the application process to solicit and consider
citizen comments on community development needs and proposed
activities to respond to them, therefore be it resolved:
That the city of Kalis.pell agrees to conform with the regulations,
statutes, terms and conditions described in the CDBG Statement of
Assurances, and
That, John "Ed" Kennedy, Jr., Mayor of the City of Kalispell, is
authorized to submit this application to th ' e Montana Department of
Commerce, on behalf of the City of Kalispell and to provide
such additional information as may be required.
