WHEREAS, the City did, on July 23, 1987 enter into a

WHEREAS, upon the advice and recommendation of Carver
Engineering .. who is the City's consultant and

engineer on said project, certain changes and alterations of design
and specifications have been found necessary and adviseable and in
the best interests of the City; and sai d changes and alterations
could not have been necessarily forseeable when the original design
and specifications were prepared on this phase of the ConcessiQn.

Project at Begg Park,
"A TI attached hereto and are by this reference made a part hereof;
and
WHEREAS, it appears in the best interests of the City to approve
said changes and alterations,
NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-5-4308(l)
MCA be it hereby resolved:
1. The alterations and modifications of the specifications and
plans of the contract between the City of Kalispell and Robert W.
Ross, Building Contractor, Inc. dated August 4. 1987
Contractor
as set out in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, are 'hereby approved;
and
2. As soon as the price to be paid for said alterations and
modifications are agreed to in writing, signed by the contractor, as
hereby approved by the Council, this approval thereof shall be in
effect.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCTL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL THIS 3rd DAY OF August 1987.

Reduction of cost.
Change to CONTRACT PRICE: -$20,612.00
Original CONTRACT PRICE: $90,612.00 1
Current CONTRACT PRICE adjusted by previous CHANGE ORDER:
$90,612.00
The CONTRACT PRICE due to this CHANGE ORDER will be decreased by
$20,612.00.
The new CONTRACT PRICE including this CHANGE ORDER will be
$70,000.00.
CHANGE TO CONTRACT TIME: None
The date for completion of all work will be November 1, 1987.

To be effective, this Order must be approved by the Owner i� it
changes the scope or objective of the PROJECT, or as may
otherwise be required by the GENERAL CONDITIONS.
