FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986.
WHEREAS, the City of Kali'4ell in Fiscal! Year 1986 app7uj)rriated
$83,597.00 to coveer the cos of Comprehensi-ve Liabili-ty- In-surance
incurred during said year, a

WHEREAS, for reasons that could not have been reasonaUv fforeseen
at the time of the appropriating said amount, the aeftal anst of
Comprehensive Liability Insurance was $104,378.00, and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that $20,781..00 required to meet the
emergency, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of:Kalispell, pum,=mTrt to
Section 7-6-4252, M.C.A. , on the 11th day of August, 19864, p,4ssed
Resolution No. 3682, and pursuant to said Resolution the City CO'uncil
did set a Public Hearing to be held at 7:30 P.M. on the 15thdmy of
September, 1986, at the Council Chambers, City Hall, Kalispell,\ftntana,
and directed the City Clerk -Treasurer to publi-sh Notice ofs.-iffiroPublic
Hearing in accordance with said section, and �
WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to said Notice did holda�Public
Hearing at said time and place and provided an o:ppor tun ity ftrr --expayeTS
and residents of the City of Kalispell to be heard for or agdhst the
expenditure of money for the alleged emergency, and
WHEREAS, the City Council at the conclusion of said hearing deermined
that it was appropriate to approve the emergency -expevaltui-e of
$20,781.00 to cover the actual cost of Comprehen:sive Liabiltry-�hsurance
for Fiscal Year 1986.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY :COUNCIL OF THE'.CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That an emergency exists in' the CompmrbETwive
Liability
Insurance ' Fund for the Fiscal Year 1986, amas�bmed
by unanticipated rises in the'. cost. of : securing 11akdIt'.y.
insurance resulting in a fiYnd deficft of $20, 781 DO -
SECTION II. That the City Council does, hereby approwe,� the
expendiEu—re of $20,781 . 00 and directs the: said expenkd funds
be drawn on emergency warrants from the Comprehensive lawrance
Fund.
SECTION III. That this Resolution shall :be entered Wn the
minutes of the Council meeting held this date and as such
shall evidence compliance with Section 7-6-4252, N."_
