Resolution 3673 - Resolution of Intent - Property Trade - School District 5RESOLUTION NO. 3673 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO TRADE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF KALISPELL FOR PROPERTY OWNED BY FLATHEAD SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 5. WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell owns certain real property, with its corporate limits, described as follows: Tract 5DB, Section 18, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana, and WHEREAS, the said property is not necessary for the conduct of City business and it 'is in the best interest of the inhabitants of the City that said property be sold or traded, and WHEREAS, Flathead School District No. 5 owns certain real property described as follows: Lots 27, 28, and 29, Block 1, Greenacres , Section 17, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana, and WHEREAS, the real property owned by the City and the real property owned by the School District No. 5 are of equal value. WHEREAS, the City Council desires to trade said property for the School District No. 5 property in accordance with the provisions of Section 7-8-101 Montana Code Annotated. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell to authorize the Mayor of the City of Kalispell to execute the necessary legal documents trading Tract 5DB, Section 18, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montaria, for Lots 27, 28,' and 29, Block 1, Greenacres, Section 17, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana. 1 SECTION II. That the City Council shall hold a public hearing and consider passage of a final Resolution authorizing the disposal of said real property as described above, at its regular Council Meeting on the 4th day of August, 1986. SECTION III. That the City Clerk -Treasurer is authorized and directed to prepare and publish appropriate notice of this Resolution of Intention in the manner described in §7-8-101 M.C.A. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR THIS 7th DAY OF July, 1986.
