A RESOLUTION TO CONSIDER THE ANNEXATION OF THE TERRITORY TO THE CITY
OF KALISPELL LOCATED IN THE N'SWI OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 28 NORTH,
RANGE 21 WEST, M.P.M. , FLATHEAD COUNTY, MONTANA, AS IS MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A", TO BE DESIGNATED AS THE KIE14AS ADDITION NO.
200, TO FIX A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON; AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE
PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF SAID HEARING.
WHEREAS, Della Rae Kienas, the owner of the tract of land described
in Exhibit "A", has requested the City Council of the City of Kalispell
to pass a resolution of Intention to consider the annexation of the
tract of land described in Exhibit "A" to the City of Kalispell, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the
said tracts of land are desirous
of the City of Kalispell, and
City of Kalispell that the owners of
of being included within the boundaries
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell has the authority
under Section 7-2-4311, M.C.A., to extend the corporate limits of the
C-."L-ty of Kalispell under the procedures set forth in Title 7, Chaptez
2, Part 43, M.C.A., upon initiation of the procedure by the owners of
the land to be annexed, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell is desirous of annexing the within
described property and that it is in the best interests of the City
of Kalispell that said tract be considered for annexation by the City
Council of the City of Kalispell.
NOW AND THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COU-"fTL OF THE CITY
OF KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. It is the intention o-L-- the City of Kalispell
tnat certain real property located in the NISWI of Section
2 4
18, Township 23 North, Range 21 West, M.P.M. , Flathead County,
Montaina, to "De designated as the Kienas Addition No. 200,
shall be considered for annexation to the City of Kalispell.
Said territory is more particularly'described in Exhibit "A"
attacned hereto and for purposes of this Resolution made a
part hereof.
SECTION 11. A public hearing on said proposed annexation
will be held by the City Council at its regularly scheduled
meeting held in the Council Chambers, City C> Hall, commencing
at 7:30 P.M. on the - 2nd day of September s 1986.
SECTION III. That the City -Clerk Treasurer'shall forthwith
prepare notices (1) to be mailed to all owners and purchasers
under Contracts for Deed of the property in the territory to
be embraced, and (2) to publish in the Daily Inter Lake, a
daily newspaper published at Kalispell, Montana, proper notice
of said Public Hearing.

A tract, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the
North Falf of the Southwest Quarter (N'k9J4-.), Section Eighteen
(18), Tovmship Twnty-eight (28) North, Range Twenty-one (21)
West, P.M.M. , Flathead County, Montana, and more particularly
described as follcws to wit:
Gmmncing at the SE corner of Block 4, High School Addition to
the tcwn of Kalispell, Montana; thence
South 13'49' East, -and on an extended line of the Easterly
boundary line of said Block 4, 66.0 feet to the Ti-ue Point
of Beginning of the tract of land being described; thence
South 13'49' East, continuing along same line, 100.0 feet to a
point; thence
South 76'11' West, and at right angles to, said Easterly line of
Block 4, 150.0 feet to a point; thence
North 13'49' West, and being parallel with the Easterly botmdary
line of the tract of land being described, 100.0 feet to a
point; thence
North 76'11' East, and being parallel with the Southerly boundary
line of the tract of land being described., 150.0 feet to the
Place of Beginning.
