TO PROVIDE
FOR THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICE
OF SAID
HEARING.
WHEREAS, Scott C. Levengood, the owner of the tract of land described in
Exhibit "A", has requested the City Council of the City of Kalispell to pass a
resolution of Intention to consider the annexation of the tract of land described in
Exhibit "A" to the City of Kalispell, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City of Kalispell that the owners of said tracts of
land are desirous of being included within the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell has the authority under
Section 7-2-4705, M.C.A., to extend the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell
under the procedures set forth in Title 7, Chapter 2, fart 47, M. C . A . , upon
initiation of the procedure by the owners of the land to be annexed, and
WHEREAS,
the
City of Kalispell
is desirous of
annexing the within described
property and
that
it is in the best
interests of the
City of Kalispell that said tract
be considered
for
annexation by the
City Council of
the City of Kalispell.
NOW AND THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is the intention of the City of Kalispell that certain real
property located in the SE4NW4 of Section 20, Township 28 North, Range
21 West, M.P.M., Flathead County, Montana, to be designated as the
Scotty's Bar Addition No.192 , shall be considered for annexation to the
City of Kalispell. Said territory is more particularly described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and for purposes of this Resolution made a part
hereof.
SECTION II. A public hearing on said proposed annexation will be held
by the City Council at its regularly scheduled meeting held in the
Council Chambers, City Hall, commencing at 7:30 P.M. on the 3rd day
of March , 1986.
SECTION III. The City Clerk -Treasurer shall forthwith prepare and
publish in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published at Kalispell.,
Montana, proper notice of said Public Hearing.

Commencing at the Northeast corner of the SE$NW4 of said Section 20;
thence South 00002'00" East and along the Easterly boundary of said
SE4NW4 a distance of 156.00 feet to the Southeast corner of that certain
tract of land described in Book 538 page 597, records of Flathead County,
Montana; thence along the Southerly boundary thereof North 89046'52"
West a distance of 211.50 feet to a point, which point is also the true
point of beginning of the tract of land to be described; thence South
10039'44" West a distance of 221.01 feet to a point, which point indicates
the North corner of that certain tract of land described in Book 496,
page 552, records of Flathead County, Montana; thence South 71°14'00"
West along the Northwesterly boundary of said tract a distance of 80.17
feet to a point; thence continuing along the Northwesterly boundary of
said tract described in Book 496, page 552, South 71014'00' West a
distance of 93.99 feet to the Easterly boundary of U.S. Highway No.

distance of 300.33 feet to the Southwest- corner of said tract described

SE4NW4 a distance of 156.00 feet to a point, which point is the Southeast
corner of that certain tract of land described in Book 538, page 597,
records of Flathead County, Montana; which point is also the point of
beginning of the tract of land to be h�rbfn described; thence North
89046152" West and along the Southerly boundary of said tract a distance
of 211.50 feet to a point; thence South 10039'44" West a distance of
221.01 feet to the Northeast corner of that certain tract of land described
in Book 496, page 552, records of Flathed County, Montana; thence
