Chairman Rold called the meeting to order and welcomed Board and City Staff.

Shannon moved the July Meeting Summary be accepted; Cara seconded. All voted in favor.
TIF & TEDD
South Kalispell Traffic Project: LHC's sub -contractors continue to work through the punch list items at the
South Kalispell Traffic Project. The City has requested additional tasks as well. All TIF funded tasks must be
complete by August 30, 2021.
Downtown: The City's Selection Committee met a number of times through July and August. They scored the
one proposal received (The Charles Hotel) and interviewed the development group. The Committee voted to
recommend the selection of The Charles Hotel proposal noting significant details will have to be negotiated.
The recommendation is scheduled to go before City Council on September 7, 2021. Shannon Friex
represented the URA on the Selection Committee.
Kalispell Trail Design/TIGER/Kalispell Core & Rail Redevelopment: Construction of the Kalispell Parkline is
underway. The 12' trail has been poured from Meridian to the bridge across the city blocks. Work to begin on
the street crossings, moving east to west, to begin August 19tn
Old School Station: All six City -owned lots at Old School Station have sold.
2021 Certified Taxable Valuation Information has been published by the Department of Revenue. The
Committee discussed the significant increases in TIF values seen in the Westside/Core Area and Downtown
districts.
