ADDENDUM NO. 3
KALISPELL TRAIL AND COMPLETE STREET

This addendum is written for the purpose of clarification and/or modifications to the Contract
Documents. Acknowledgement of Addenda shall be through downloading Addendum from
QuestCDN. Bidders will not be allowed to submit bid without downloading all Addendum.
The following changes and/or corrections shall be made to and become part of the project
plans and specifications.
1. Specification Change: An approved substitute for the water fountain (Los Angeles Double
DRLA-2-DB Arm with Dog Bowl) in Section 02009 Special Provisions – Furnishings in Exhibit
A.
2. Specification Change: Work in Meridian road can occur during daytime hours, but
contractor must maintain traffic in both directions. Nighttime work (7pm to 6am) is
permissible for up to two weeks (14 calendar days). During nighttime work, road can be
completely closed with an approved traffic control plan. Prior to beginning nighttime
work, contractor shall provide written notice of work to all residences within 300 of the
intersection of Appleway Drive and Meridian Road. First Ave EN shall be open on July 4th
and on the day of the Fair parade (mid-August). Please see revised Section 01041 in
Exhibit B.
3. Specification Change: The typical section for concrete panels on Hwy 93 are 9 inches of
concrete over 3 inches of asphalt. If after removal of concrete there is not a layer of
asphalt, then compact existing subgrade and pour 9” of concrete over compacted
subgrade. If there is a 3-inch layer of asphalt and it is damaged during removal of
concrete, repair asphalt before pouring concrete. Excavating or adding crushed base
course to meet final grade is incidental to bid item 503. Sheet CX102, CX104, SM105, and
SM106 along with Sections 00300 and 01200 are updated and included in Exhibit C.
4. Plan Change: Asphalt tonnage was revised. Please see revised Section 00300 and Sheets
SM1105 and SM106 all in Exhibit C.
5. Plan Changes: Correction to fence detail 3 on Sheet AD104 stating round post. Adjustment
to the layout of typical sections in Sheets CX103-105. Adjustments to irrigation mainline
placement and sprinkler head locations made on Sheets LI101, LI104, and LI107-109.
Revision to details 1 and 8 on Sheet LID101. Modifications to the landscaping plan were
made on Sheets L100-101, L103-104, and L106 due to changes in trail alignment between
Meridian and 5th Ave WN, extension of split rail at 4th Ave WN, and reference inclusion of

the new curb ramp on Main St and Market Pl St. Updated sheets included in Exhibit D.
6. Plan Change: Details for the Wayfinding Signs on Sheets AD108-110 were made to reflect
correct language on each sign along with clarification that all signs are attached to new
posts. Please see revised Sheets AD107-110 in Exhibit E along with the Color and Finish
Schedule.
7. Specification and Plan Change: The Plaza Map in Depot Park will occupy an area 20 feet by
30 feet (L106). Please refer to Section 02013 Special Provisions – Lithocrete Quarried
Stone™ (LQS™) and the attached map in Exhibit F. Included in the Section 02013 is contact
information for two qualified installers.
8. Plan Change: Revision to the length of 8” SDR35 pipe. Please see revised sheet ST107 in
Exhibit G and Section 00300 (Exhibit C).
9. Plan Change: A profile of the retaining wall was added to Sheet CP112 and included in
Exhibit H.
