A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL TO
ACCEPT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell was engaged in a search of a
replacement for the Griffin Park Baseball Field, and
WHEREAS, George M. Begg and Edna R. Begg expressed an inten-
tion to make certain real property available to the City, and
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of.September, 1985, George M. Begg
and Edna R. Begg entered into a Memorandum of Agreement which re-
cited the terms and conditions under which the Beggs would convey
the property to the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell accepted
terms and conditions of said Memorandum of Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF KALISPELL:
SECTION I. That the Mayor of the City of Kalispell is
hereby authorized _and directed to accept on behalf of the
City of K a 1 i s p e 1 1 a Warranty Oeed, a copy of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit "A", executed by George M. Begg
and Edna R. Begg deeding certain real property described
therein to the City of Kalispell.
SECTION II. That the Mayor of the City of Kalispell is directed
to appropriately express to George M. Begg and Edna R. Begg the
City's appreciation and to thank them on behalf of the City Council
and the residents of the City of Kalispell.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR THIS 16th DAY
OF SEPTEMBER, 1985.
