A RESOLUTION TO CONSIDER THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY
OF KALISPELL LOCATED IN U.S. GOVERNMENT LOT 1, SECTION 1, T28N, R22W,
M.P.M., FLATHEAD COUNTY, MONTANA, LYING WESTERLY OF THE WESTERLY
BOUNDARY LINE OF U.S. HIGHWAY #93, AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
IN EXHIBIT "A", TO BE DESIGNATED AS THE CHRISTIAN CENTER ADDITION
NO. 180, TO FIX A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON; AND TO PROVIDE FOR
THE PUBLICATION OF A NOTICE OF SAID HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Kalispell Assembly of God Church, a Montana Corporation, has
by and through 'R. D. Ross, its' Senior Pastor and Chairman, and James L.
Lancaster, Secretary, Treasurer of the Congregation, the resident freeholder of
51% of certain property situated outside the corporate boundaries of the City of
Kalispell, but contiguous thereto, has requested the City Council of the City of
Kalispell to pass a resolution of intention to consider the annexation of a tract of
land described in Exhibit "A", and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City that the owners of the tract of land are
desirous of being included within the boundaries of the City of Kalispell, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell has authority under Section
7-2-4705, M.C.A. to extend the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell under the
procedures set forth in Title 7, Chapter 2, Part 47 M.C.A., upon initiation by
petition, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell is desirous of annexing the within described
property and that it is in the best interest of the City of Kalispell that said tract
be considered for annexation by the City of Kalispell, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell recommends that the property,
if annexed, be zoned as Residential, R-4 in accordance with the petition of the
Kalispell Assembly of God Church, a Montana Corporation.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That it is
the
intention of the
City of Kalispell; that
certain real property located
in Government Lot
1, Section 1, T28N,
R22W, M.P.M. , Flathead
County,
Montana, (to
be designated as the
"Christian Center Addition
No.
180"), shall be considered for annexation
to the City of Kalispell.
Said
territory is more
particularly described
in Exhibit "A"" attached hereto
and for purposes of this Resolution made
a part hereof.
SECTION 11. A public hearing on said proposed annexation will be held
by the Kalispell City Council at its regular meeting held in the Council
Chambers, Kajispell City Hall, commencing at 7:30 P.M. on the l��%
day of J_ y , 1985.
SECTION 111. The City Clerk --Treasurer shall forthwith prepare and
publish in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published at Kalispell,
Montana, proper notice of said public hearing.

West, M.P.M. , Flathead County, Montana, lying Westerly of the Westerly boundary
of U. S. .Highway No. 93.

the boundaries of Northridge Heights, Section 3, according to the map or plat
thereof on file and of ,record in the office of the Clerk and Recorder of Flathead
County, Montana.

line of said Government Lot 1 to a point 30 feet South of the Northwest
corner of said Government Lot 1 and on the South Right -of -Way line of
the declared County Road; thence
South 89057140" East along said South Right--of-Way line and on a
line parallel to and 30 feet South of the North line of said Government
Lot 1 for a distance of 200.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning for
this description; thence proceeding along said South Right -of -Way line
