SUBJECT: FY 2022 City -County Health Department Levy
MEETING DATE: August 16, 2021
BACKGROUND: The County is requesting a levy of 4.99 mills for the City -County
Health Department. Last fiscal year the levy was 4.99 mills. This levy will be collected and
administered by the County Treasurer.
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended the City Council approve Resolution 6047, a
resolution making the City of Kalispell, Montana, contribution to the annual tax levy for the
City —County Health Department of the City of Kalispell, Montana and Flathead County,
Montana, for the fiscal year 2021-2022.
FISCAL EFFECTS: The City of Kalispell's contribution amounts to approximately
$275,513.

A RESOLUTION MAKING THE ANNUAL TAX LEVIES FOR THE CITY OF KALISPELL
CONTRIBUTION FOR THE CITY OF KALISPELL — FLATHEAD COUNTY HEALTH
DEPARTMENT, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby levied upon each and every dollar of the taxable
valuation of the City of Kalispell, Montana, for the fiscal year
2021-2022, the following levy (funds to be collected and
administered by Flathead County):
CITY - COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT 4.99 MILLS
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF
THE CITY OF KALISPELL, THIS 16TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2021.
