OF INTENTION TO
ANNEX TERRITORY TO THE
CITY OF
KALISPELL, COMPRISING TWO TRACTS OF LAND IN THE NWI-SE' OF
SECTION
17, TOWNSHIP 28 NORTH, RANGE
MONTANA, TO BE
21 WEST, P.M.M., FLATHEAD

HEARING.

OF
WHEREAS, in the judgement of the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
it is in the best interest of the City of Kalispell and the inhabitants thereof, that
the contiguous platted tracts encompassed in Exhibit, "A" attached hereto and for
purposes of this Resolution made a part hereof, be annexed to the City of Kalispell,
so that the boundaries of the City of Kalispell would be extended so as to include
the same within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, to zone said property
as Residential, R-4; and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell desires to annex the property to the City Limits
under the provisions of Title 7, Ch.apter 2, Part 43, M.C.A. (Annexation of
Contiguous Land).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That it is the intention of the City of Kalispell that
certain territory comprising two tracts of land in the NWkSEk of Section
17, T28N , R21 W, P.M. M. , Flathead County, Montana, be embraced within
the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell and the boundaries of said
City be so extended so as to include the same. Said territory is more
particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
SECTION 11. That itis further the intention of the City of Kalispell
that property described in Exhibit "A" be zoned as Residential, R-4
upon annexation.
SECTION 111. The City Clerk -Treasurer shall forthwith prepare and
publish in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published at Kalispell,
Montana, proper notice of this Resolution of Intention at least once a
week for two successive weeks next proceeding the regularly scheduled
Council meeting at which said Annexation will be considered.
SECTION IV. For a period of twenty days after the first publication of
said notice by the City Clerk -Treasurer, said City Clerk -Treasurer will
receive expressions in writing of approval or disapproval of the proposed
extensions of the boundaries of said City of Kalispell from freeholders
of territory proposed to be embraced therein.
SECTION V. At the regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council of
the City of Kalispell next succeeding the expiration of said twenty days,
the City Clerk -Treasurer shall lay before the City Council all communi-
cations in writing so received by her for the City Council"s consideration.

boundary of 14th Street; thence
South 76011' West along said South boundary of 14th Street,
a distance of 103.00 feet to the TR GE POINT OF BEGINNING;
thence

North 76011' East a distance of 80.00 feet to a point; thence
Northerly and parallel to the West boundary hereof a distance
