RESOLUTION NO. 3582
A RESOLUTION TO ABANDON ALLEY IN BLOCK 126, KALISPELL ORIGINAL
TOWNSITE.
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of March, 1985, the City of Kalispell received a
petition from Flathead County, James H . Calbick and Jeanette S. Calbick owners of
record of all lots along an alley in Block 126, Kalispell Original Townsite, requesting -
that the City of Kalispell vacate said alley pursuant to Section No. 7-14-4114,
M.C.A., and
WHEREAS, notice of said petition was published in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily
newspaper, published in Kalispell, Montana, on the 30th day of April, 1985, and
WHEREAS, on the 6th day of May, 1985, the City Council of the City of
Kalispell held a public hearing to hear proponents and opponents on the closure
and to further determine any action, that would serve the public interest, and
WHEREAS, it was determined that the petition hereinbefore mentioned was properly
presented to the Council, and
WHEREAS, it was determined at said public hearing that the closure of the alley
in Block 126, Kalispell Original Townsite would be in the public interest.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA, THAT:
SECTION I. All
that part
of the
City alley in Block 126, Kalispell
Original Townsite,
is hereby
vacated
as the same is no longer required
for public use and
the public
interest
will be served by its vacation.
SECTION II. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and
after thirty 111) days of its passage and signed by the Mayor.

OF KALISPELL, THIS 6TH DAY OF MAY, 1985.
