Resolution 3578 - Resolution of Intent - Abandon Alley in Block 126RESOLUTION NO. 3578 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON THE ALLEY !N BLOCK 126, KALISPELL ORIGINAL TOWNSITE. WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of March, 1985, the City of Kalispell received a petition from James H. Calbick, Jeanette S. Calbick, and the Flathead County Commissioners, (Kenneth H . Krueger and Allen Jacobson), the owners of all the lots along the alley in Block 126, Kalispell Original Townsite, requesting that the City of Kalispell vacate said Alley, pursuant to Section 7-14-4114, M.C.A., and WHEREAS, the vacation of said Alley would facilitate the pending construction of the Flathead County Justice Center, and 1 WHEREAS, the City. Council is desirous of obtaining public comment on the Petition and determining whether or not said Alley should be abandoned only after public notice and in the public's best interest. NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: That the City Council shall on the 6th day of May, 1985 hold a public hearing on and consider the closure and vacation of: 1) The Alley in Block 126, Kalispell Original Townsite. SECTION II. That the City Attorney and City Clerk -Treasurer are hereby directed to schedule said public hearing for the Council and to give due and proper notice of said publishing as required by Section 7-14-4114, M.C.A. PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, THIS 15TH DAY OF APRIL, 1985.
