A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, COMPRISING A PORTION OF TRACT 30-7, IN THE SE4NW4',
OF SECTION 8, T28N, R21W, P.M.M., FLATHEAD COUNTY, MONTANA, TO BE
DESIGNATED AS COLONIAL VILLA ADDITION NO.. 173 , TO FIX A DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, AND TO PROVIDE FOR PUBLICATION OF NOTICE
OF SAID HEARING.
WHEREAS, in the judgement of the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
it is in the best interest of the City of Kalispell and the inhabitants thereof, that
the contiguous platted tracts encompassed in- Exhibit "A" attached hereto and for
purposes of this Resolution made a part hereof, be annexed to the City of Kalispell,
so that the boundaries of the City of Kalispell would be extended so as to include
the same within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, to zone said property
as General Business, B-3; and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell desires to annex the property to the City Limits
under the provisions of Title 7, Chapter 2, Part 43, M.C.A. (Annexation of
Contiguous Land).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That it is the intention of the City of Kalispell that
certain territory comprising a portion of Tract 30-7, in the SEXNW�,
NEJSW7'r of Section 8, T28N, R21W, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana,
be embraced within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell and the
boundaries of said City be so extended so as to include the same. Said
territory is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
SECTION II. That it is further the intention of the City of Kalispell
that property described in Exhibit "A" be zoned as Residential Apartment,
RA-2 upon annexation.
SECTION III. The Cfty Clerk -Treasurer shall forthwith prepare and
publish in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published at Kalispell,
Montana, proper„ notice of_,. this Resolution of ..Intention at least once a
week for two successive weeks next proceeding the regularly scheduled
Council meeting at which said Annexation will be considered.
SECTION IV. For a period of twenty days after the first publication of
said notice by the City Clerk -Treasurer, said City Clerk -Treasurer will
receive expressions in writing of approval or disapproval of the proposed
extensions of the boundaries of said City of Kalispell from freeholders
of territory proposed to be embraced therein.
SECTION V. At the regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council of
the City of Kalispell next succeeding the expiration of said twenty days,
the City Clerk -Treasurer shall lay before the City Council all
communications in writing so received by her for the City Council's
consideration.

89 Township 28 North, Range 21 West, P.M.M. , Flathead
County; between Washington Street and U.S. Highway #2,
east of the Kalispell Motel. Subject property is further
described as follows:
Commencing at a found iron pin which is on the southerly
right-of-way of East Washington Street and 16 feet easterly
of the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 10 of Duncan's
Addition to Kalispell; thence N7601POVE and along the
southerly right-of-way of said Washington Street a distance
of 303.02 feet to a set iron pin and the true point of beginning
of the tract of land herein described; thence continuing
N76011100"E and along said southerly right-of-way a distance
of 209.66 feet to a set iron pin on the top of the hill,
thence along the top of the hill the following 4 courses:
