RESOLUTION NO. 3561 A RESOLUTION TO PROVID3 FOR THE MLIW"L ANCE OF SIGNALIZED INTERSUPOTIONS VEIT TED AND pAINTIUG OF cFRTAIN CROSSWALKS BY THE CITY WITa REMURSN B*f MONTANA STATE HIGHWA-Y DEPARM4:FM- WER3EAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell, in its regular meeting duly assembled on the 17th day of Decemberg 1984 determined that it is in the best interests for the public welfare of the citizens of the City of Kalispell to adopt Resolution No. 3561 providing for the main- tenance of signalized intersections and the painting of certain crosswalks, effective July 1, 1984 to June 30, 1985; NOW TBFEWOfP6, be it resolved: SECTION I. it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Kalispell that the City enter into and execute an agreement with the Montana State Highway Commission, Helena, Montana whereby the City of Kalispell maintains signalized intersections and paints certain crosswalks within the City of Kalispell, and the State of Montana agrees to reimburse the City of Kalispell on an actual cost basis, during the year beginning July 1, 1984 through June 30, 1985; SECTION II. Serial bonds shall be in the denomination of $5,000 each or any integral multiple thereof of single maturities. The Bonds shall be issued only as fully registered bonds and shall be executed by the manual or facsimile signatures of the Mayor and City Clerk. Amortization bonds shall be preferred. Section 3. Notice of Sale. The Bonds shall be sold at a public competitive sale w ich is hereby called and shall be held at a regular meeting on March 4, 1985 at 7:30 O'clock p.m., M.T., in the City Council Chambers, Kalispell, Montana. The City --Clerk is au-thorized and directed to cause the notice of the sale to be published, as required by Section 7-7-4252, M.C.A. in the Daily In -L terlake, once a week for four (4) successive weeks preceding the week which' contains the date of sale, and in any other newspapers as may be determined by the Council . The City Clerk is also directed to send a copy of the notice of sale of the bonds to the State Board of Investments. The notice of sale shall be in substantially the form set forth in Exhibit A to this resolution. Section 4. Procee in s to the Attorney General. The City Clerk is hereby directed to turnish a certifie—d COPY Of all proceedings taken by the City with respect to the issuance of the -Bonds to the Attorney General and request his examination and report as to validity, as required by Section 7-7-101 —, M.C.A.
