Water Superintendent Lauterjung and Mayor Bjeraeby rowlesed for comeilmen,
"Agreement for renegotiation of Contract for State Grant for Sense Treatment
Works", received frm the Department of Health and Environmental Sciences. An
agreement to change the state share from 25% to 5% and apply for federal funding
of 75%. It will be necessary to process the now federal grant application by
the 2md of January, 1973.
RESOLUTION NO. 2889
' Councilman Thomas moved adoption of Resolution Ns. 2889 A Resolution authorising
Mayor Bjoraeby to sign Agreement for Renegotiation of Contract for State Grant
for Swage Treatmsat Works. Seconded by Councilman Kapp. Boll Call Vote. All
voted aye.
Commoilman Thomas reported the safety committee recommended approval for Dale E.
Gifford to attend Juvenile School at University of California, a 90 day school
beginning Jamory 8, 1973. An Onnibus Crime Grant has been approved for this
expense.
Councilman Thomas moved Dale R. Gifford be authorised to attend the Juvenile
School at the University of California. Seceded by Councilman Sampson. Carried.

THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE KALISPELL CITY COUNCIL WAS HDEID JANUARY 15, 1973, IN
THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL AT 7530 P.M. MAYOR BJORNEBY PRESIDED. ALL
COUNCILMEN WERE PRESENT.
The minutes of the regular council meeting of December 11, 1972 wore read.
Councilman Mixon moved approval of the minutes as read. Seconded by Councilman
O'Brien. Carried.
The minutes of the special meeting of December 21, 1972 were read. Councilman
Happ moved approval of the minutes as read. Seconded by Councilman Sampson.
Carried.

Fire Department - 4th quarter 1972.
Fire Department - Annual 1972.
Treasurer - 4th quarter report of licenses issued.
Treasurer report of security pledges to the City of Kalispell by Kalispell banks.
Councilman Mixon moved acceptance of the City Officials reports. Seconded by
Councilman Sampson. Carried.
