Box 5246, Kalispell, MT2201 The following changes are hereby made to the CONTRACT DOCUMENIS;- A) Reduction in the contract bid price for tire and rim deemed not necessary. Subtract per Justification.- The spedifications called for two spare tires and wheels to be supplied with th ' 6 nurse tanker vehicle. The City determined that only one was necess- ary since the vehicle would only be used for local hauling within the confines of the valley, and the tires were each rated at 120,000 miles. The City thus asked Tri-Ca Equipment to grant a credit for the second tire and wheel which was deemed unnecessary given the operating conditions. The above described change as presented below is hereby subtracted from the total bid prjce. The amount was verified through -the local dealer who would have supplied the iLems. Subtract lump sum total cost of extra tire and rim ($385-00) B) Extra discharge elbow for nurse tank. dd per Justification: The specifications did -not call for a 90" discharge elbow on the bottom of the sludge tank. It was originally intended the discharge hose be directly connected to the tank. Attempts to do this revealed the hose would be severely crimped and its usefulness restricted if directly connected. The 90* discharge elbow will eliminate the crimping of the hose and provide a smoother withdrawal of sludge from the tank. The above described change as presented below is here- by added to the total contract price. Additional 900 discharge elbow $570-00 C) Total increase change in contract price - costs for A + costs for B - ($385-00) + $570-00 = $185-00 ij 4e In
