07-01-21 Site Development Review Committee MinutesSITE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE SUMMARY Thursday, July 1, 2021 First Floor Conference Room 201 First Avenue East ATTENDING: Rachel Ezell, Planner II PJ Sorenson, Senior Planning Patrick Jentz, Engineer II Keith Haskins, City Engineer Tim Falkner, Admin Captain DC Haas, Interim Fire Chief Jarod Nygren, Planning Director Grace Kurtz, Engineer I GUESTS: James Freyholtz (MDT), Craig Koontz (Sunrift Brewery) HEAR THE PUBLIC: None PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: UPS Expansion - 1151 N Meridian; Grading, Paving, Curbs & Gutters, PRV, Storm Sewer, Landscaping, Trash enclosure, Wall Light (PIA Exp. 7/30/21; Cashier’s Check) – Rachel will send out reminder letter today, Public Works has a few items remaining which include the cleanup of the PRV building, recording drawings and the warranty bond. OLD BUSINESS: Arcade & Tap House – 2400 Hwy 93 S. - remodel to arcade/tap house – Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next week. Kalispell Foot & Ankle – 58 Village Loop; new office. PW received the resubmittal and will review. This will be on the agenda next week. Owl View Ph 2 Building 2- 210 Sawyer Ln; new apartment building. PW received new layout for the new intersection and will be sending comments. They are still waiting on a resubmittal in response to most recent comments sent. This will be on the agenda next week. World Gym Addition – 555 E Swift Creek Way; Addition to existing gym. Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next week. Chipotle – 2261 Hwy 93 N; new restaurant building. Planning comments have all been addressed. Public Works has sent comments out but have not received a resubmittal yet, pre-treatment is completed for the TI and nearing completion for the shell. This will be on the agenda next week. Penco- 2310 Hwy 93 S; building addition. Storm/sewer design is still under review by Public Works. Due to the size of the building they either need to put in a firewall or a fire/sprinkler system. Building is waiting to hear back on what they want to do. This will be on the agenda next week. Taco Bell- 2260 Hwy 93 N; new restaurant building. Planning is satisfied with sidewalk; Engineering is good. They revised their pre-treatment plan so Public Works need to review it before they can fully sign off. Building review is complete. This will be on the agenda next week. Flathead County North- 290 N Main St; remodel and parking lot reconfiguration. Building has received a new set of plans and will start reviewing this week. This will be on the agenda next week. Costco ADA parking- 2330 Highway 93 N; establish and restripe handicapped parking spaces. Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next week. RDO- 3145 Hwy 93 S; enclose existing covered outdoor storage. Public Works will not sign off until the 1st phase is completed. This will be on the agenda next week. Glacier Eye - 155 Timberwolf Parkway; new medical office. Architectural review approved subject to a few landscaping items. Building plans have not been received. This will be on the agenda next week. Northwest Energy – 890 N Meridian; shop addition to existing building. Public Works sent out comments on 06/23/21. Building plans have not been received. This will be on the agenda next week. Highline Dermatology – 475 Cascade Loop; new office. Departments still under review. This will be on the agenda next week. NEW BUSINESS: Sunrift - 55 1st Ave West North; project status update – Craig Koontz present to give update.
