RESOLUTION NO. 3491
A RESOLUTION TO ESTIMATE THE COST OF SPECIAL MAINTENANCE ON
SPECIAL MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO.1 FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAIN-
ING THE STREETS AND AVENUES OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, AND THE
INTENTION OF LEVYING AND ASSESSING THE COST THEREOF FOR THE
YEAR 1983.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL.,
MONTANA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the entire cost of the Special Mainten-
ance District No. I for the year 1983 is established to be
$184,487.00, and the City has cash on hand of $23,730.00 for
this purpose.
SECTION II. That it is the intention of the City Council
to levy and assess a tax in the amount set opposite the de-
scription of each lot or parcel of land within said district
as shown by the special assessment lists an file in the office
of the City Clerk.
SECTION III. The amount of said tax shall be levied on
a proportionate area basis at the rate of $.0024 per square
foot thereof.
SECTION IV. The City Council will hold a public bearing
on said intent of levy and assessment before final adoption
thdreof; said public hearing shall be held at the regular
meeting of the City Council to be held in the City Council
Chambers at 7:30 P. M. on the
The City Clerk will give notice of said public hearing as
provided by law.
