RESOLUTION NO. 3472
A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE RECOMMENDED AMENDMENTS TO THE KALISPELL
LAND USE PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
did on the 21st day of October, 1974 adopt the Comprehensive Plan
for the Kalispell Planning Area, and
WHEREAS, Pack & Company, Inc., by and.through its President,
Ronnie Pack, submitted on the 2nd day of March, 1983, an application
for proposed amendments of the Land Use Plan Portion of the Compre-
hensive Plan for the Kalispell Planning Area currently in effect for
a parcel of the property owned by Pack & Company,, Inc., and
WHEREAS, the Kalispell City -County Planning Board held a public
hearing on the proposal and recommended (Resolution #KPA-83-002),
pursuant to Section 76-1-603, M.C.A., that the City Council of the
City of Kalispell, Montana, and the Board of County Commissioners of
Flathead County, Montana, amended the Comprehensive Plan for the
Kalispell Planning Area, and
WHEREAS, the recommended amendments to the Comprehensive Plan
for the Kalispell Planning Area, as recommended by the Kalispell
City -County Planning Board did state as follows:
Figure III-1, Page 111-9, Chapter 3, thereof
be amended to change the land use designation as
follows:
a) that the area located South East of
the intersection of Highway #93 and Re-
serve Drive be designated as "Industrial"
as shown on the attached Exhibit "A" and
further
b) That the portion of the area immedia-
tel.y adjacent to the intersection of High-
way #93 and Reserve Drive be designated as
VoCommercial" as shown on the attached
Exhibit "A", and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell adopted
Resolution No. 3467, dated the 16th day of May, 1983, which was
titled, "A Resolution of Intention to Adopt, Revise or Reject.
Recommended Amendments to the Kalispell Land Use Plan."
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of'Kalispell has con-
sidered all written or oral comments received by the City since
the adoption of Resolution No. 34.67.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OFTHE CITY
OF KALISPELL:
A. Amend figure III-1, Page 111-9, Chapter 3 of the
Comprehensive Plan for the Kalispell Planning Area as
follows:
1. That the area located South East of the inter-
section of Highway #93 and Reserve Drive be designated
as "Industrial" as shown on the attached Exhibit "A".
2. That the portion of.the area immediately adjacent
to the intersection of Highway #93 and Reserve Drive
be designated as "Commercial" as shown on the attached
Exhibit "A".
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AND APPROVED
BY THE MAYOR THIS 18th DAY OF JULY, 1983.

plan for the jurisdictional a . rea of the Kalispell City -County
Planning Board.
Reasons: Approved by Kalispell City -Co . unty Planning Board
No written protests received.
In view of the fact that there i s considerable resi-
dential development in the area this appears to be an in-
dustrial area that has been in existence for more than
40 years. The commercial corner lends itself to the resi-
dential development in the area.

M.C.A., by the Board of commissioners of Flathead County, Montana that
the Master Plan for the Kalispell City -County Planning Board's jurisdictional
area is hereby revised as follows:
