RESOLUTION NO. 3467
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ADOPTj REVISE OR REJECT RECOMMENDED
AMENDMENTS TO THE KALISPELL LAND USE PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
did on the 21st day of October, 1974, adopt the Comprehensive Plan

for the Kalispell Planning Area, and
WHEREAS, on March 2, 1982, Pack & Company, Inc., a Montana
Corporation, by and through its President, Ronnie Pack, submitted
an application for proposed amendments of the Land Use Portion of
the Comprehensive Plan for the Kalispell City -County Planning Area
currently in effect for a parcel of property owned by Pack & Company,
Inc. in the general area of the South East Corner of the intersection
of Reserve Drive and U.S. Highway #93, North of the City of Kalispell
and within the City -County Planning Area, and
WHEREAS, THE Kalispell City -County Planning Board did an the
day of April, 1983, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall, Kalispell, Montana, hold a public hearing, after
proper notice, and received public comment upon the report and
recommendations of the Flathead Regional Development office, and
WEEREAS, after consideration of the report, recommendations and
sugge!_�tions elicited at said public hearing, the Kalispell City -
County Planning Board did adopt by Resolution (#KPA-83-002), a copy
of said Resolution is attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and for pur-
poses of this Resolution made a part hereof, pursuant to Section
76-1-603, M.C.A., recommend to the City Council of the City of Kal-
.4-1-Tell, Montana, and the Board of County Commissioners of Flathead
Montana, that the Kalispell Land Use Plan be amended, and
11HEREAS, the recommended amendments to the Kalispell City -County
1,and Use Plan, as recommended by the Kalispell City -County Planning
Bo;ird, did state as follows:
F"i-gure III-1, page 111-9, Chapter 3, thereof be amended
to change the land use designation as follows:
a) That the area located South East of the
intersection of Highway #93 and REserve Drive
be designated as industrial as shown on the
attached Exhibit "A" and further
b) that the portion of the area immediately
adjacent to the intersection of Highway #93 and
Reserve Drive be designated as "Commercial" as
shown on the attached Exhibit "A", and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell considers it
advisable that they consider the.recommendation of the Kalispell City -
County Planning Board and adopt a Resolution of Intention pursuant
to Section 76-1-604, M.C.A., to adopt, revise or reject the recom-
mended amendments to,the Comprehensive Plan for the Kalispell City -
County Planning Area.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY.,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF KALISPELL:
SECTION 1: That it is the intention
of the City
Council of the
Cit y of Kalispell, to
adopt, revise
or reject the
recommended amendments
to the Kalispell
Land Use Plan
a's recommended by the City -County Plan-
ning Board as
follows:
Figure III-1,
Page 111-9, Chapter
3, thereof
be amended
to change the land use
designations
as follows:
