RESOLUTION NO. 3453
A RESOLUTION TO CONSIDER THE ANNEXATTON OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
KALISPELL COMPRISING ASSESSORS TRACT 7A IN THE SWkSEk, SECTION 12,
T28N, R22W, P.M.M., FLATHEAD COUNTY, MONTANA, TO BE DESIGNATED AS
THE KALTAN ADDITION NO. 153) TO FIX A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREOF;
TO PROVIDE FOR PUBLICATION OF A NOTICE OF SAID HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Kaltana Corporation, a Montana Corporation, by and
through its president, Donald M. Whaley, the resident freeholder
of certain real property (hereinafter described) outside the corpor-
at-e boundaries of the City of Kalispell, being contiguous thereto,
h-a-ve filed with the City of Kalispell a petition bearing the signa-
tiares of 51% of the resident freeholders in the hereinafter described
stating that they desire to have said real estate annexed
�_-;D lie City of Kalispell and requesting a Resolution of Intent to
to Annexation of the hereinafter described real. estate to
1---i-ty of Kalispell; and
t-HEREAS, the City of Kalispell is desirous of annexing the within
property and that it is in the best interest of the City

�OW AND THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITZ OF KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. It is the intention of the City of Kalispell that
c,:,rtain. real property comprising Assessors Tract 7A in the SW4SE4,
'Section 12, T28N, R22W, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana, (to be
6esignated as the Kaltan Addition No. 153) shall be considered for
xation to the City of Kalispell. Said territory is more parti-
cula,_�cly described as follows:
.A tract of land in the SWI-4-,SE�4- of Section -12, Township
28 North, Range 22 West, M.P. M., Flathead County,
Montana, and more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a point which is the South Quarter
Corner of said Section 12; -thence
North 00* 47' 58" East and along the West boundary
of said SWhSE4 a distance of 47.19 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence continuing
North 000 471 58" East on and along said West boundary
of the SWkSEk a distance of 995.50 feet to a point;
thence
North 890 38' 25" East a distance of.313.06 to a point
which lies on the West boundary of "Street", Gibson
Addition No. 41, records of Flathead County; thence
South 000 47' 58" West on and along said West boundary
of "Street", Gibson Addition No. 41, records of
Flathead County, a distance of 932.97 feet to a point
which lies on the Northerly right of way of Highway
No. 2; thence
Southwesterly on and along said Northerly right of way
on a curve to the right (Delta = 160 58' 12" Radius
2086.00 feet, radial bearing = North 200 05' 37" West),
a distance of 321.65 feet to the True Point, of Beginning.
EXCEPTING therefrom public roads and rights of way.
SECTION II. A pu)��lic hearing on said petition for annexation
W11-11 be held by the Kalispell City Council at its regular meeting
held in the Council Cliambers, Kalispell City 4 Hall, commencing at

7:30 P.M. on the day of T , �,_ �, - 1983.
SECTION -III. The City Clerk -Treasurer shall forthwith prepare
and publish in the Daily Interlake, a daily newspaper published at
Kalispell, Montana, proper notice of said public hearing.
