Resolution 3447 - Resolution of Intention - Annexation - Dry Bridge Creek Parkfib RESOLUTION NO. 3447 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF KALISPELL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE "DRY BRIDGE CREEK ri.i:K. ANNEXATION ~vv. 15211, TO ZONE SAID PROPERTY AS PUBLIC ?-I AND TO FIX A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE CITY CLERK -TREASURER TO RECEIVE EX- PRESSIONS OF APPROVAL OR DISAPPROVAL IN WRITING THERETO AND PROVIDE FOR THE PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF THIS RESOLUTION. WHEREAS, in the judgement of the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana, it is in the best interest of the City of Kalis- pell and the inhabitants thereof that the contiguous plotted tracts encompassed in -Exhibit "A" attached hereto and for purposes of this Resolution made a part hereto commonly known as Dry Bridge Creek Park, that the boundaries of the City of Kalispell would he extended so as to include the same within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, to zone said property as Public P-1, and WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell desires to annex the property to the City Limits under the provisions of Title 7, Chapter 2, Part 43, ils.C.A. (Annexing of Contiguous Land). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ?�XIA SPELL AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That it is the intention of the City of Kalispell that certain territory comprising the "Dry Bridge Creek Park Tnnexation No. 152" be embraced within the corporate limits of Lice City of Kalispell and the boundaries of the City of Kalispell be so extended so as to include the same. Said territory is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and ,tade a part thereof. I'CTION II. That it is further the intention of the City of (al.ispell that property described in Exhibit "A" be zoned as Public P-1 upon annexation. E_1'�'TION III. The City Clerk -Treasurer shall forthwith prepare ind publish in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published at. Kalispell, Montana, proper notice of this Resolution of intention at least once a week for two successive weeks next proceeding the regularly scheduled Council meeting at which said Annexation will be considered. SECTION IV. For a period of twenty days after the first publi- cation of said notice by the City Clerk -Treasurer, said City Clerk -Treasurer will receive expressions in writing of approval or disapproval of the proposed extensions of the boundaries of raid City of Kalispell from freeholders of territory proposed to be embraced therein. SECTION V. At the regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council of the City of Kalispell next succeeding the expiration of said twenty days, the City Clerk -Treasurer shall lay before the City Council all communications in writing so received by tier for the City Council's consideration.
