RESOLUTION NO. 3425
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CONSIDER THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF KALISPELL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE "IDAHO FOREST IN-
DUSTRIES ADDITION NO. 137", AND TO FIX A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING
THEREON; TO PROVIDE THE PUBLICATION OF SAID NOTICE FOR SAID HEARING.
WHEREAS, Idaho Forest Industries, Inc., and Idaho Corporation,
by and through its legal counsel, James M. English, the resident
freeholder of certain real property hereinafter described, (Exhibit
"A"), outside the corporate boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, being contiguous thereto, has filed with the City of Fal-
ispell a petition bearing the signatures of 51% of the resident
freeholders in the real property as is more particularly described
in Exhibit "A", stating that they desire to have said real estate
annexed to the City of Kalispell and request a Resolution of Intent
to consider the annexation of the real property as described in
E,illibit "A" to.the City of Kalispell; and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell desires of annexing property
to the City limits under the provisions of the "Planned Community
Development Act of 1973", and that it is in the best interest.of
the City of Kalispell that said petition be considered by the City
Council of the City of Kalispell.
NOW AND THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
C;F KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. It is the intention of the City of Kalispell that
cej-:.ain territory comprising the "Idaho Forest Industries Addition
No. 137" shall be considered for annexation to the City of Kali-
at11. Said territory is more particularly described in Exhibit
"A` attached hereto and made a part hereof.
;SECTION II. A public hearing o•~. said petition for annexation
will he held by the Kalispell City Council at its regular meeting
1.:�.ld in the Council Chambers, Kalispell City Hall commencing at
7:30 P.M. on the 20th day of September, 1982.
SECTION III. The City Clerk -Treasurer shall forthwith prepare
and publish in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published
at Kalispell, Montana, proper notice of said public hearing.,
