Resolution 3425 - Resolution of Intention - Annexation - Forest Idaho IndustriesRESOLUTION NO. 3425 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CONSIDER THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF KALISPELL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE "IDAHO FOREST IN- DUSTRIES ADDITION NO. 137", AND TO FIX A DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON; TO PROVIDE THE PUBLICATION OF SAID NOTICE FOR SAID HEARING. WHEREAS, Idaho Forest Industries, Inc., and Idaho Corporation, by andthrough its legal counsel, James M. English, the resident f reeholder of certain real property hereinafter described, (Exhibit "A."), outside the corporate boundaries of the City of Kalispell, Montana, being contiguous thereto, has filed with the City of Fal- ispell a petition bearing the signatures of 51% of the resident freeholders in the real property as is more particularly described in Exhibit "A", stating that they desire to have said real estate annexed to the City of Kalispell and request a Resolution of Intent to consider the annexation of the real property as described in F-illibit "A" to.the �City of Kalispell; and WHEREAS " , the City of Kalispell desires of annexing property to the City limits under the provisions of the "Planned Community Development Act of 1973", and that it is in the best interest.of the ' City of Kalispell that said petition be considered by the City Coutncil of the City of Kalispell. NOW AND THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C;F KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. It is the intention of the City of Kalispell that cej-:tain territory comprising the "Idaho Forest Industries Addition 14 No. 137" shall be considered for annexation to the City of Ka _L Said territory is more particularly described in Exhibit A` attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION Il. A public hearinq o:z ' saW petition for annexation will he held by the Kalispell City Council at its regular meeting I 1�:-�_Lld in the Council Chambers, Kalispell City Hall commencing at 7:30 P.M. on tte 20th day of September, 1982. SECTION III.
