RESOLUTION NO, 3418
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ADOPT, REVISE OR REJECT RECOMMENDED
AMENDMENTS TO THE KALISPELL LAND USE PLAN; TO FIX THE DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING THEREON; AND TO PROVIDE FOR PUBLICATION OF NOTICE
OF SAID HEARING.
WHEREAS, on April 23, 1982, the Mayor of the City of Kalispell,
LeRoy E.McDowell, did direct Flathead Regional Development office
and Nakul Verma, its Director, to amend the Kalispell Land Use
Plan to affect compliance with�Montana law; aild
WHEREAS, The Flathead' Regional Development Office did review
and evaluate said amendment in��terms of,environmental impact, site*

potentialities, and availability of service; and thereafter did
draft its report and recommend4tions and directed said report and
recommendations to the Kalispe.0 City -County Planning Board; and
WHEREAS, the City -County P�lanning Board did on June 8, 1982,
at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Kalispell,
Montana, hold a public hearings, after proper notice, received
public comment upon the report�and recommendations of the Flathead
Regional Development Office; and
WHEREAS, after considerati �n of the recommendation and
suggestions elicited at said public hearing, the Kalispell City -
County Planning Board did by resolution, pursuant to Section
76-1--603 MCA, recommend to the City Council of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, and to the Board of County Commissioners of Flathead County,
Montana, that the Kalispell Land Use Plan be amended';.._.and

WHEREAS, the Citv Council of the City of Kalispell considers
it advisable that it consider the recommendation of the Kalispell
City -County Planning Board and adopt a resolution of intention to
.adopt, revise or reject said recommended amended Kalispell Land Use
Plan; and I
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell considers
it advisable to request public input on -the proposed changes in
the Kalispell Land Use Plan.
TH�;REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. It is the intention of the City of Kalispell to
adopt, revise or reject the recommended amendments to the Kalispell
Land Use Plan as recommended by the Kalispell -City -County Planning
Board.
SECTION 11. A public hearing on said recommended amendments
to the Kalispell Land Use Plan will be held by the City Council at
its regular meeting held in the Council Chambers in the City Hall
comencing at 7:30 P.M. on the 1.9th day of July, 1982.
SECTION III. Information pertaining to the recommended amend-
ments to the Kalispell Land Use Plan are on file in the Office of
the City Clerk of the City of Kalispell, Montana, and is available
for public review during regular office hours.
SECTION.IV. That communications in writing, expressing views
or concern ' s may�..belsubmitted.t ' o the.City Clerk at City Hall, Kal-
ispell, Montana, or presented to the City Council of the City of
Kalispell at said hearing.
SECTION V. The City Clerk -Treasurer will forthwith prepare
and publish in the Daily Interlake, a daily newspaper published
in Kalispell, Montana, and the Kalispell Weekly News, a weekly
newspaper published in Kalispell, Montana, notice of said public
hearing.
