RESOLUTION NO. 3405
A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 3385 BY AMENDING RULE 11 (3)
OF THE OPERATING RULES AND REGULATIONS'FOR THE CITY OF KALISPELL
WATER DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell adopted on December 21, 1981,
pursuant to Section 69-7-201, M.C.A., certain rules and regula-
tions to.the minimum requirements of good procedure for the nor-
mal operation of a utility.
. WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend certain rules and
regulations for the efficient operation of the Kalispell City
Water Department.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL THAT RULE 11 (3) IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
"Commercial Service" means any water usage other than
solely for residential purpose except in a residence
in which the resident operates a neighborhood business
occupying less than thirty per cent of the living area
and which the water consumption for the business would
be insignificant. Where a single structure has a neigh-
borhood business exceeding the foregoing or has more
than one business combined with a residence, the water
service shall be considered "Commercial Service".
Schools, hospitals, nursing homes, churches, hotels,
motels, trailer parks, apartments and rooming housing
having over two rooms on a rental basis are considered
Commercial serivices and not Residential, Two or more
single family residences, each having one or more doors
exiting directly to the outside, combined in one structure,
are considered Residential Service.
