RESOLUTION NO. 3396
A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT STANDARDS AND GENERAL PROVISIONS FOR DESIGN
AND CONSTRUCTION FOR THE CITY OF KALISPELL..
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1003, provides that the city Council
is authorized to adopt, establish or change Standards and General
Provisions for Design and Construction for alteration of or im-
provements added or connected to facilities owned by the City of
Kalispell: and
. WHEREAS, Section 24-19 of the Kalispell City Code, requires
the City Engineer to prepare rules and regulations governing con-
struction, maintenance, and repair of all streets, sidewalks, curbs,
gutters and sidewalk crossings for approval by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell's Standard Specifications
for Design and Construction of Public Improvements, adopted by the
City of Kalispell as of July 5, 1977, require revisions to meet
current City needs, and
WHEREAS, it is essential that criteria be established that
will p . rovide a method of extension or alteration of streets, water
mains, sewer mains and storm drainage facilities as well as fire
protection and other municipal services for areas to be developed
or altered.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE STANDARDS AND GENERAL
PROVISIONS FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION DATED MARCH, 82 BE ADOPTED
BY THE CITY OF KALISPELL, TO BECOME EFFECTIVE ON MARCH 18, 1982.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AND APPROVED
BY THE MAYOR THIS 15 DAY OF MARCH, 1982.
