Resolution 3365 - Creates Special Parking Maintenance District #1�a+-r - . a" •��a - r-U,4�F� �' � �� r r--z - r �>�sy r7� ���� W �.t - "4-y.�hii`rrvn, —� �fii _ •.s-� 6rs'Lrr`S _1 ��irf RESOLUTION NO. 3365 f� s A RESOLUTION CREATING SPECIAL PARKING MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1 FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING THE FUNDING OF THE COSTS OF MAINTAINING, OPERATING, REPAIRING AND IMPROVING THE PUBLIC OFF-STREET PARKING LOT AND FACILITY LOCATED ON LOTS 17 THROUGH 24, BLOCK 46 OF KALISPELL. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MON- TANA: WHEREAS, on the 5th day of August, 1981, said Council did pass and adopt Resolution No. 3360, a resolution of intention to create Special Parking Maintenance District No. 1; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City did give Notice of the Passage of said resolution by publishing same for five successive days in the Daily Inter Lake, a daisy newspaper published in Kalis- pell, Montana, beginning on August 10, 1981, and also on August 10, 1981, true copies of said Notice were mailed to all persons having real property within said district; and WHEREAS, on the 8th day of September, at the next regular meet- ing of said Council the Council did conduct a hearing on said Resolu- tion No. 3360, and insufficient protests, written or oral, were made or presented against creating said Special Parking Maintenance Dis- trict No. 1 to prevent its creation. NOW THEREFORE, said Council does hereby create Special Parking Maintenance District No. 1 for the purpose of providing the funding of the, costs of maintaining, operating, repairing and improving the public off --street parking lot and facility located on Lots 17 through 24, Block 46 of Kalispell, in that certain area described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. The annual costs of said District shall be determined each year depend ag on the net costs of the maintenance, operation, repairs and improvements of the off-street parking lot located on Lots 17 through 24 of Block 46 of Kalispell after deducting the revenues re- ceived from the rental of automobile parking spaces thereon and the revenues received from rental of on -street parking spaces within the District and revenue from other city operated off-street parking lots as may be allocated to such costs by the City Council. Such annual net costs shall be determined, fixed, levied and assessed annually on an ad valorem basis on all property within the said District pur- suant to the authority and procedures set forth in Sec. #7-14-4713, M.C.A. The policy of the City Council as adopted by Resolution No. 3363 on August 10, 1981, will be followed in determining the net cost of said Special Parking Maintenance District No. 1, PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 8th DAY OF September , 1981, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA. 2" 4 W,4� Norma E.
