With valor and distinction, these citizens stand watch over us all and work hard to fight crime, violence, and terrorism in communities across America. We are a country built on the rule of law, and we are grateful to the men and women who enforce those laws and uphold the fairness and peace we treasure. The Kalispell Police Department invite you to honor those who have served, continue to serve, and most importantly those who lost their lives serving their community, as well as their survivors. There will be a processional parade and ceremony on Saturday, May 15, 2021. The ceremony will be a time to pay tribute to those who have served and those who serve daily; through their service and sacrifice, they have earned our respect and gratitude. The parade will start at 12:00 p.m. in Kalispell and travel north on Main Street from 8th Street to Center Street. The parade will primarily consist of emergency vehicles from agencies across the State of Montana. The ceremony will take place at the Flathead County Fairgrounds Expo Center starting at 1:00 p.m. For questions regarding this press release, please contact Kalispell Police Department Administrative Captain Tim Falkner at tfalkner@kalispell.com,, 406-758-7790.
