Public Open House for Kalispell Urban Area Transportation Plan: Move 2040
Kalispell, MT — The City of Kalispell is pleased to announce a public open house to discuss the draft
report of the Kalispell Urban Area Transportation Plan, titled Move 2040.
Move 2040 establishes a set of existing and projected conditions covering surface transportation in the
Kalispell area to the year 2040. A series of transportation recommendations have been developed,
evaluated, and prioritized to address future transportation needs facing the Kalispell area. The draft Move
2040 Kalispell Urban Area Transportation Plan establishes a list of needed transportation
recommendations to address existing and projected transportation demand.
The open house is on May 26, 2021 at the Kalispell City Council Chambers, City Hall, 201 First Avenue
East, Kalispell, MT 59901. Two open house sessions will be held.
• First session: 10:00 am — 1:00 pm. Presentation at 12:00 pm.
• Second session: 4:00 pm — 7:00 pm. Presentation at 6:00 pm.
Presentations at 12:00 and 6:00 pm will be given in person and live streamed. Those interested in the live
stream must contact project manager Wade Kline at wade.kline@kljeng.com by 9:00 am, May 26, 2021.
This event is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend to share your thoughts and insights into
the draft of the Kalispell Urban Area Transportation Plan. More information can be found online at
www.kalispell.com, including a pre-recorded presentation covering information on the draft Kalispell Help
