WHEREAS, the City did, on April 23, 1281 enter into a contract with

WE ERE AS, upon the advice and recommendation of
Director of Public Works, Robert Haffe3man who is the City's consultant and

engineer on said project,, certain changes and alterations of design and specifica-
tions bave been found necessary and adviseable and in the best interests of the
City; and said changes and altexations could not have been necessarily foreseeable
when the original design and specifications were prepared on this phase of the
MUNICIPAL SWIMMING POOL and said changes are contained iu

Exhibit "A" attached hereto and are -by this reference made a part hereof; and
VIEIMABI it appears in the -best interests of the City to approve said � changes

NOW THEBEFOBE, pursuant to the provisions of Section 11-12041, R.C.M.,p 19479
be it hereby resolved:
1. The alterations and modifications of the specifications and plan of the
contract between the City of Kalispell and Pack and Company
Conti -actor
dated April 23, 3981 as set out in Exhibit "All attached hereto, axe
hereby approved; and
1. As soon as -the price to be paid for said alterations and modifications
are agreed to in writing, signed by the contractor, as hereby approved by the
Counci,l,, this approval themeof shall be in effect.

JUSTIFICATION
'The original contract contained no provisions for work on.the deep end of the
municipal swimming pool. In lieu of aimual painting by -the City it is proposed
to have the con -tractor apply a more durable sealer which is anticipated to have a
life of three years. The City will clean the deep end surface.
ACCEPTANCE
The City of Kalispell, owner, and Paek and C2M2:py contractor,,
in -the above referenced contract, do'hereby agree to the texns andconditions of.
the 5nstant change oider number I and same is effective this date in accordance
with 1jesolution No. 3332 and said contr94iJ) is amended accordingly.
