Board of Directors Meeting
Mar 16, 2021, 4:00 via Zoom
WELCOME:
Members present: Cate Webber, Chris Vick, Mark Schickendantz, Beth Collier, Everit Sliter,
Jessica Treweek, Diane Medler, Mary Pat Murphy, Diane Morton Stout, Teri Iwerson, Sue
Corrigan, Katharine King, Carrie Nelson, and Brit Clark.
TREASURER'S REPORT: (Everit) We are in a good cash position, partially due to PPP (Payroll
Protection Program) money received. Everit reviewed the performance and management fee
of the DA Davidson Endowment fund.
ROOM SPONSORSHIP COMMITTEE: (Beth &Teri) The room sponsorships have gone quite well
and just a few rooms remain. They are waiting to hear back from a couple of people. Diane
Morton Stout offered to sponsor the Sewing Room. Chris volunteered to sponsor a remaining
room.
FINANCE COMMITTEE: (Mark, Everit &Chris) Reviewed the proposed budget. The expenses
are as stable as we can make them and the main focus will be on the income side. This season
will be hard to predict. Mark is getting information from Anderson Masonry for the Brick
Project. The Brick project is not included in the budget. The budget includes an estimated 2%
increase for inflation and increased payroll. The marketing budget has been adjusted. We are
fortunate to be in a strong cash position.
Chis Vick made a motion to approve the budget. Jessica Treweek seconded. All members voted
in favor.
MARKETING COMMITTEE: (Diane) The committee has worked on refining the marketing
budget. Events include private Murder Mystery Dinner parties. Chris Vick is reviewing the
Mansion's event contract and alcohol policy. Indicators show that leisure travel will be up this
summer. Road trips will be popular and we have a good location where people can be outdoors
and spread out. The Canadian border will probably not open until Sept. Teri Iwerson shared
information about an upcoming Glacier Park community forum via Zoom, which will discuss
ticketed entry for the Going to the Sun Road.
